Currently I am living and working in Southern New York state, building stone steps up the side of a mountain. It's really pretty here right now, I'm living in a former girl scout camp, pretty much by myself. Very rural, no cell phone reception, no electricity, no internet, and pretty soon no running water. Trying to keep my art skills intact, but won't be able to post anything for a while. This morning I walked out the front door of my cabin and was so close to a deer I could have pee'd on it. Only a sudden sense of morality and the wonder of nature kept me from doing so.
JB's broken truck, some stupid cute bird. I'm sketching everyday these days, trying to keep the momentum going. Also because I don't have a job.

The Harvard Natural History museum is free to MassArt students on Sundays (before noon), and it is a really great place to sketch if you like crazy animals and old taxidermy. Also has an impressive gem collection.
This is what I have painted and photoshopped so far... going to take a break from this image for a bit.
